I think this is a similar crash to what another user reported :
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Logos.BibleStudyBuilder, Version=3.6.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.
In another thread, it looks like re-install might be required but might actually help (I'm assuming you did open with CTRL-pressed to load to a blank layout, restarted your PC - the easy steps)

I've also seen the earlier thread about the crash in v38 beta 1.
Do you know what version you were running prior to updating to v38 Beta 2? Was it v38 Beta 1 or v37.2? Thank you
