Ever since Beta 9 L4 Mac gets stuck on startup (i.e., the Home page never shows up, just the spinning wheel).
I'm attaching my logs, I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on what might be the problem.
Thanks!
Mark

Bump
Can you try holding down Cmd after starting the app and selecting "Work Offline" and see if that helps? I don't a crash in the logs.
Thanks for the suggestion, Tom, but nope, still just gives me the spinning wheel.
Any other ideas? I hate to be dead in the water like this. I appreciate the help!
Would you mind posting your com.logos.Logos_Bible_Software_4.plist which is in /Users/<user_id>/Library/Preferences/?
Thanks for the reply, Tom. I'll post that file when I get home tonight.
Here you go!
When I try to attach the file, I get file type not valid, or something like that.
I don't know if this helps or not, but here's what I get when I open the file in TextEdit:
bplist00’
_finishedRemovableMediaScan_PMPrintingExpandedStateForPrint_SUScheduledCheckInterval_SUEnableAutomaticChecks_lastWindowPlacement #
You might be able to copy them into a folder and compress them with Archive, then post the zip file.
Thanks for the tip, here you go.

Mark,
Do you have a file named com.libronix.LibronixDLS.plist in your Library/Preferences folder on 'Macintosh HD'? If you do would you mind zipping that and uploading it?
I will check tonight when I get home. Thanks.
Tom - I checked and don't see that file.
Can you upload your ResourceManager.db file?
I didn't see a file anywhere (I wasn't sure where to look) called ResourceManager.db, but here is a file I found called ResourceSyncManager.db.
6136.ResourceSyncManager.db.zip
Unfortunately, those files aren't the same. Here's a screenshot that shows where to get the ResourceManager.db:
Of particular note is the path detailed at the bottom of the screen shot. You should be able to find the file needed in the similar path on your machine.
Thanks, Cameron. Here you go!
7077.ResourceManager.db.zip
Do you have a com.logos.Logos4Indexer.plist in /Users/markwooten/Library/Preferences?
No.
Mark, Can you try the latest release (RC 2)?
You can grab it from http://www.logos.com/logos4mac if it hasn't downloaded automatically.
Absolutely, I'm downloading it now. Thanks again for the help.
(By the way, I didn't even notice there was an update to try, because I am not getting notices of updates, either).
2500.com.logos.Logos_Bible_Software_4.plist.zip0743.ResourceManager.db.zipStill no go, both last night and this morning.
By the way, last night I tried moving my .LSF files back into the Resources folder. When I did (using RC2), the program did download some updates, but I'm not sure if it's because I moved the .LSF files or because I was using RC2.
Here are all the logs and files you've asked for. Thanks for sticking with this!

David,
It looks like your Library Index got corrupted. Try "Rebuild Main Index" in the command bar.
I'll try it. Do you think I will be able to enter that command, even if the Home Page screen is blank except for the spinning wheel?
Got my wife to try it at home. Tried it twice. It crashes immediately.
So, you can also manually delete your indexes by closing Logos 4, and moving your LibraryIndex folder to the trash and restarting.

Okay, I'll try it tonight. Thanks.
Problem Solved! Thanks so much for your patient help.
It's been a while since I've seen the program - it's looking good!
Well, we just pushed RC 3, so it'll be even better than RC 2.
