I've completed the wiki pages on Gestures (new in 4.1 Win).  You can access it at: http://wiki.logos.com/Gestures

It would be great if some fresh eyes could check over it in case I've missed a typo or some other error.

Edit Note: Smart Tags is next wiki page I'll work on getting up and running.

Yes  Nice! Clean layout.

one thing, could you please add the right sidebox with wiki/forum links? (look at wiki Template2 for an example)

Thanks

EDIT: also you might want to add somewhere that you will need to wait for the Tip to disappear before they can do another gesture. (this might be the case when you are trying to use the Go Back/Forward or the Article Next/Previous and you want to do multiple gestures in a row)

Thanks Steve, I'll take a look at these the things you suggest today.

I'm using Logos from the new HP TM2 Tablet; a best practice of OneNote and other office 2010 apps is to treat pen and touch input differently; pen is like a mouse, but touch is like fingers on a book: I hope Logos will soon do this -- even with custom flicks, it is much too hard presently to move up and down in a document quickly and accurately by touch (or pen).

Wow! There are two wiki templates. See http://wiki.logos.com/wiki_Template1 as well. Both linked in from VTOC. Thank you, Steve!

They are basically the same, Template2 just has most of the comments removed (for clarity for others).
i expect that other templates will appear. This started out as a template for me, so that i didn't have to keep opening other wiki pages. Then i realize that it might be useful for others and added basic wiki syntax examples along with typical page structure.

Also thought this might offer similar structure, which might help new users (when they learn how to navigate one wiki page, then they would be familiar with other wiki pages).

What would be really handy is if those templates would find their way onto the template menu when you open a blank page (look in the bottom right under the entry box.)

That would be handy. Tried renaming a couple of times trying to get that to happen, but i don't have a clue on how to do this. Do you know how to do this?

Maybe the admin at logos for the site can do it..

Peace to you, Andrew  AND  a brief spontaneous prayer for restful sleep that you should be getting as I write this post!

Thank you for your work in this area of gestures!                  I have been so excited by L4.  Then I relax a little ..   then I discover another whole new world, and get all excited all over again and again  .

Hi Kolen

Kolen Cheung:
How to turn off Gestures?

I don't know of any way of doing this at the moment.

It has been requested / discussed on a number of occasions. See http://community.logos.com/forums/t/21657.aspxhttp://community.logos.com/forums/t/21629.aspx and http://community.logos.com/forums/t/41907.aspx for examples.

There is a Uservoice suggestion at http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/2566953-add-a-preference-setting-to-disable-gestures which you may want to vote for.

Oh, my God!

I would suggest Logos to tailor the gestures as multitouch gestures on Mac. The current Gestures are so unnatural on Mac.
