I just installed the rC2 (needed the sentence diagrammer) tried to open a version 3 sentence diagram and now the program won't run. I get a Windows message that the program has stopped working.
Any help is appreciated

We will need some logs from you. You can find out about diagnostic logging here:http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
After enabling diagnostic logging, repeat whatever causes the crash and then zip the log files together and attach them (use the paperclip icon on the message compose bar) to your next message. Someone will take a look and see if there is anything to recommend.

The system seems to be crashing while trying to create datatypes. I don't recognize much more.
To eliminate the possibility that the sentence diagram is causing the problem let's delete that database. It should be found here:
C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\{random}\Documents\SentenceDiagram
Delete both files and try to restart Logos. Zip up the logs again if there is a crash (which I suspect there will be, but would be glad to be wrong).

Crashed again. I can see the resources in the back, but can't access them
It got further but produced the same crash in trying to create datatypes. This isn't an error I've seen before. It is possible it is a beta bug. It is also possible something has become corrupted. If so, there may be a file we can delete and force Logos to rebuild it (as we tried with the Sentence Diagram files). I just don't know what file to delete. The other thing that may be required is to reinstall Logos.
Since I can't point you for certain in the right direction, I'd let this sit for awhile until others have time to take a look. Unfortunately, you'll be without Logos in the meantime.

In addition to preaching the unsearchable riches of Christ i also work another full time job. Consequently, I've got to turn in pretty soon. This is what happens when greed drives us to reach for Logos 4 features which exceed our grasp[:D]
Just to confirm: today is the first time you have run any 4.1 beta/RC version?
Did you import your sentence diagrams from LDLS3 by running "import sentence diagrams" or "import all" in the command bar? If so, it's most likely that this crash is caused by an error in the import process. We can probably reproduce it here if you are willing to share your sentence diagrams with us (for testing purposes). Please zip up your "Documents\Libronix DLS\SentenceDiagrams" folder and email it to handouts@logos.com (and let us know when you send it so we can confirm that the spam blocker doesn't eat it).
any more suggestions guys and gals, or do I need to do a reinstall. It's Wednesday....but Sunday is coming[:D]

It looks like it wasn't mentioned in the release notes, but we did add a fix for this issue in SR-1. The program will now log an error (when it would previously have crashed).
To help us get more information on the error you were encountering, please enable logging, open Logos 4, open any document (e.g., note or passage list), make a change (e.g., add some text), close the document, and wait 4-5 minutes (to let document indexing run). Then zip up the logs and post them here--thanks!
