Bug: 4.2 B1 map cut off & other issues in Paged View

i am amazed at how much L4 programmers covered pretty much all cases in creating columns using the Paged View. How well the screen sizing to columns and the article/chapter movements using the Locator bar work. Well done L4 team!

Found one little case in the BKC where a map was cut off (not scaled down like in other commentaries). see below

Also found that paging up from the page below, jumps from 4 columns to 2 columns (granted had the view below in a non-maximized state [3 columns] and when maximized it converted to 4 column)

when going back one page (up arrow) the page view shows the image below (2 column).

Also notice this in Leviticus going between pages 166 and 167

(also notice a full page is shown for a single linefeed between OUTLINE and the image). it stays in single column after this.

Going to a single column in maximized view is unacceptable in the Paged View mode. (or at least staying in the single column permanently)

Also in the ESV SB, changing from one page to the next, it jumps from 3 columns to 1 column.

Found case in the BKC (again) when changing from a non-maximized view to the maximized view, the Book Name overwrites text in a different column.

Paging up or down does not correct this.

Paged view hangs and page down stops working here. I can page up, but when it hits this page, page down does not go further (using scroll wheel or PgDn button or down arrow). To get this to happen:

Go to the very top of the ESV SB and start paging down. When it comes to the bottom page image below it hangs (preventing going to page 42 or higher).

This happened again. In the image below, could not page down any further when in the non-maximized mode (which i was always in). Going to maximized, Paged view will allow paging below this page. But not when in the non-maximized mode. As you can see the non-maximized window is around 80% of the full screen size.

This happened again in the Old Testament Survey, could not page down past this page.

Ahhh, found this to happen in the maximized window view as well. This book hung on this page as shown below.

It intermittently hangs, as you can see in the TOC there are many pages after this page. It even hung a couple of times while the TOC was showing. Fiddling with TOC (opening & closing) would get the pages to proceed (usually changed the number of columns when this worked).

We're not actually debugging it. The Logos folks will have to do that. [:)]

I'm not even trying to systematically test features and find bugs (don't have time for that). I'm just trying to do my own work or help people on the forum, and I keep running into bugs. But in general this release seems more stable than early betas in other release cycles. It hasn't crashed on me once.

Yes i was doing some high tech debugging (rolling the mouse wheel while watching TV....lol). You two cannot afford to leave checking out this Beta to an amateur like me. After watching you & Rosie methodically go through beta releases, i am sure that you would not trust a rookie like me to assure you of a bug free release [:D].

I accidentally got into the beta this time by clicking on the wrong link when trying to load the RC.

You might be an amateur at finding bugs, but you're sure great at writing up descriptions of them, especially with your included graphics. Keep up the good work!
