While I was at Camp Logos recently, I learned that you could drag a link from the internet and drop it into one of your bookmark slots in Logos 4. The screenshot below indicates how this would be done.

The only problem is that I also learned that this cool feature works in the Windows version, but is not yet operable in L4M.

The devs have so many things on their plate, I was not sure if this had been thought of recently as one of the items on the list for achieving parity with L4W.

My understanding is that you can even drag powerpoint files, etc to one of the bookmark slots in Logos 4W. This would be a very useful tool for me in the classroom, as I am constantly switching back and forth from L4 to PPT to the Internet.

With this feature in place, I could set my lesson plan by assigning my visuals in order to the bookmark slots in L4. Then all I would have to do in the classroom is hit CMD 1, CMD 2, etc. to go the next visual item in my lesson plan.

Thanks for all you devs do. Looking forward to this, and many other coming attractions!

Got this working today internally. Dragging URLs, Applications and Files works. This will be made available in a future release.

This reminds me too that we need to do a similar thing for shortcuts. I'll file a bug on that too.

Tom,

Thanks so much. This is a feature I am really looking forward to using!

Wait a minute...isn't today Saturday? What are you doing working on Saturday? Take some time off and enjoy it with your family. I'll go to bat for you if you get in trouble with your superiors.Whisper

In all seriousness, thanks to you and all the devs for the incredible amount of hours you are putting in on this project. You are making a difference!
