I apologize if this has been reported....I am using 4.2 beta 3...

I wanted to print what amounts to about 3 pages of scripture, but I wanted to do a little formatting myself first so I used the "Save as file" in rich text format.  Now in the preview, it shows as 2 columns on the paper, as Columns is set to "Auto".  But when it is saved in RTF format, it's only 1 column. Shouldn't the column display be transferred across as well?

I can reproduce this and will report it. Thanks.

Update:  I had forgotten this is by design. The format of the export is not intended to match the print exactly, but to have appropriate formatting for the selected file type. For example, HTML doesn't support columns at all. RTF does, but it doesn't enforce a specific page size, so we can't guarantee what the column widths would be when the RTF file is opened. In this case it would be better to create the columns in your word processor if desired.
