Did I miss a turn? There was a time when I could open two collection tabs. I can open two of the same Bibles but I can not open two collection tabs. What I want to do is drag a collection into another collection.

James,
Right click on the collections "button" in tools. That will give you the option to open in another tab.

Oops. Now mine won't open except in the original collections tab...I tried to open in a floating window...it seem that one to a customer is it right now.
Oops. I did not miss a turn. I fell asleep at the wheel. What I was doing seems like the right thing to do (open another collection tab) but it is NOT. You drag from the open menu at the top. Which seem a little odd but that is the way it works. I will try to stay awake and play by the rules.

You can do this by dragging from the Open menu. I'm pretty sure you've never been able to open two collection tabs (nor two library tabs).
Yes, you can open multiple copies of a resource tab, but I don't think it's ever been possible to open multiple copies of the Library or Collections tab (or any of the tool tabs for that matter).
However to drag one collection into another to nest them, you simply drop down the Open menu in the collections tab, and drag the collection from there into the + side of the collection definition.
Thanks Mark. My mistake.
You can do this by dragging from the Open menu
For the benefit of any Mac user who stumbles on this thread: In the Mac version, you must use the Open Menu and right-click on the collection you want to add (or exclude). You cannot drag from the Open Menu.
Note: Right-Click will also work in the Windows version.
Rosie - I want to thank you for all of your posts. I have learn a lot over time. This time I just got in a hurry. Just seemed the windows think to do. Collection is not the thing I do every day. After my post I went to a short meeting and it hit me - " I was doing it wrong.". Anyway I do want to thank you. I can not imagine the time you must of spent in helping people like me. James
PS: Yes - I did pay attention in the meeting.

Well, I might spend a lot of time doing it, but I guess I'm not always timely in my replies. Your post and Mark's both beat mine by seconds. I'll try to be quicker next time. [:)]
