"Fontexplorer X" - can it be affecting performance on Logos4 Mac?

Wanted to pass something along to folks that are having performance issues on Logos4 Mac. I just discovered that "Fontexplorer X" was causing serious degradation with a different Bible software that I recently purchased. I shut down the "Fontexplorer X" and was amazed at the radical affect in performance to the positive with the Bible software when "Fontexplorer X" was not running. No exaggeration - it is a night to day difference.
Here's why I am posting this here. I no longer have Logos4 Mac installed on my Mac so I can't test this out. But was wondering whether or not this same app could be causing Logos4 Mac to perform poorly.
Maybe there's something here, maybe not. But just wanted to pass it along just in case it would help.
Blessing!

Answer to Topic ? = Yes - Fonts can adversely impact Logos 4 Mac performance, especially corrupt ones that also have potential to crash Logos 4 Mac.
Apologies - years ago dealt with many font issues in older Mac OS versions - learned to keep fonts simple (fewer works better - less headaches). Knowing wanted to use 64 bit kernel on 27" iMac, did a clean install of Snow Leopard and applications (chose not to install Rosetta), have smallish set of fonts.
Font Management in Mac OS X web page by Kurt Lang => http://www.jklstudios.com/misc/osxfonts.html has many font insights and tips, including which fonts to keep after installing Microsoft Office on Mac (duplicate font conflicts).
Found some Font discussions on Apple Support Forums:

This could be possible. I use FontExplorer X and Logos runs like a dog on my MacBook. Will try turning it off and see what I get.
