I think that The Collected Writings of William Still is worthy of Logos.

Rev. William Still has served as pastor of Gilcomston South Church of Scotland (Presbyterian), Aberdeen, since 1945. Born in 1911, Still has been widely used in the recovery of the Gospel among many in his land. His story can be read in his autobiography, Dying to Live (Christian Focus), and his variously published writings are now being issued in large volumes titled The Collected Works of William Still. He has been a pastoral role model and friend to many, including the editor of Reformation & Revival Journal. This article is an edited version of privately published material originally preached to his congregation.

'It has been said of the great North American pastor-theologian Jonathan Edwards that he had the ability to take an idea and hold it in his mind, turning it round like a diamond to view it from every possible perspective. William Still would make no claim to rival Edwards; yet one of the obvious passions of his ministry has been to take several fundamental biblical insights and explore how these apply in a variety of areas of Christian thought and life. The result is striking.'

Sinclair B. Ferguson ~ Senior Minister, First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, South Carolina

'Mr Still's ministry in public and private is suffused with a love for both God and man. Those who have had the privilege of knowing him agree that these interconnected and inseparable loves have made him human, but with a heavenly spirit; serious, but with a deep note of joy; hard working, but with a thankful heart; and, perhaps most of all, immensely approachable and loveable.'

Nigel M. de S. Cameron

'Here is a rich collection of William Still's studies in Christian faith and life which illustrate the maturity, potency, relevance and practicality of his lengthy and vibrant biblical ministry.'

Rev. J. Brian Moore

+1

I've listened to Dr. Sinclair Ferguson's lectures many times and believe that since Dr. Ferguson referred that much to William Still, this man's works should be very good, too.

Perhaps, Banner of Truth Trust has this material?

I would +1 this and also point out that I have suggested in the Reformed forum that Logos add the Didasko Commentary series, edited by Sinclair Ferguson and containing a number of commentaries by Still.

Good news for William Still fans...if you speak Spanish. Logos now has 2 of his resources in pre-pub, but both in Spanish. English versions would be nice!

- The Work of the Pastor / La tarea del pastor

- Towards Spiritual maturity / Hacia la madurez espiritual
