Link Set and Text Comparison

If I have a number of Text Comparison windows open all linked to 'A', and I type in a reference in one of them, the others don't change to match that reference.
If I create a separate Bible Text Window (also linked to 'A') and enter a reference, then the Text Comparison Windows do change.
Is there a way to simply link Text Comparison windows together without having a separate Bible window or is this just a limitation of the program?
Thank you in advance for any assistance.

I never would have thought to open two Text Comparison windows up at once, so I'd not noticed this limitation before. Yes, it appears that a Text Comparison window can only "follow" a Bible or a commentary, it cannot be a driver itself.
May I ask why you need to have two Text Comparison windows open to the same Bible verse, though? If one isn't showing you enough versions and you've opened the second one to show you more versions, why not put all the versions together into the same Text Comparison window? There's no limit on how many versions you can compare at once. In fact, I often use a Text Comparison window to look at a passage in all my English Bibles at once:

Thanks Rosie.
I use the vertical layout for the same purpose. But for me there are some advantages to the horizontal layout (which of course limits the number of versions you can use practically).
If you put a reference like Romans 3:1-31 in a horizontal oriented text comparison window, then you can scroll through and make one-verse-at-a-time comparisons between your three to five versions. On the vertical, you are making passage-at-a-time comparisons.
It's not a big issue. If I make a very small 'Bible' window in my text comparison layout and enter the reference there, it seems to work.
Is there a way to change a vertical text comparison window that has a reference of 2 Timothy 3:1 to 2 Timothy 3:2 without retyping the reference? If that is possible (and it may be, I am a logos neophyte), then that would solve all of my problems.

I've never tried it either yet, but I can give you one possible answer to that one: one for Swedish Bibles, one for English Bibles, and one for either Greek NTs or Hebrew/LXX. Unless the other Bibles are in the same language as the first, the differences are always going to be close to 100%, and thus useless. Also, I hate having the texts below each other -- I want them parallel -- and you can't show very many that way. I've long wished I could set up half a dozen or so "text comparison collections", that weren't part of my ordinary Collections, but just of TC. A History dropdown that showed only used combinations of Bibles, but not the passages, would work fine.
Now I did go and try it out. A temporary workaround might be to choose either Follow or the link letter in the second window after every time you've written something in the first window. Not convenient, but at least it's slightly faster than writing the reference a second time. (At least to me; I guess it depends on how fast you write.)

fgh,
You are right, re-clicking on the link letter works and may be a helpful way to handle that issue.

Hi Noel. You're right that this doesn't work at the moment. I've not noticed it before, but I think it's a bug. I've therefore filed a bug report for you. Hopefully in the next day or two a Logos member of staff will respond to that thread to confirm whether or not it is a bug.

Should be able to just click to the right of the 1, backspace over it, and replace it with a 2.
