Problem with installing updates

I've been notified that I have a new update of the Beta software to install.

it asks for my password.
So I enter my user name and my computer password.
It doesn't take that.
Then I enter my user name and Logos password.
It doesn't take that.
Then I go back and enter my username and computer password.

This is the message I get then:

"An error occurred while installing the update. Please try again later."

This has happened several times.

What is going on?

Hi Susan

A screen shot of the box asking your details would help narrow down the options.

But in the end it might come down to a call to customer services. To do this cheaply make use of Skype.

Observation: last Logos 4 Mac Beta was released 22 Feb 2011 while last Stable version was released 8 Mar 2011 (anticipating new Beta soon).
