4.3 Beta 1 Help

After a strange day of inactivity and a bit of frustration with the current beta of Logos 4 I'm making a plea for help. After updating my copy of Logos 4 I found that it was crashing when loading my layout. I then went through a process of manually downloading a new copy of the beta file and installing this, with no joy.
After a couple of hours of not much of anything I decided to do a re-install, following the directions on the wiki. After going through a re-install I got Logos 4 up and running.
However now I have an issue with the downloading of my resources. My download keeps freezing on me, I have 6.24gb of resources that as yet haven't and are showing no signs of being downloading. I had my mac book running all of last night and today in the hope that the download was just running slowly and would complete either while I was asleep or at work. Sadly this hasn't happened.
So at the moment I'm in the position of having an installation of Logos 4 that I am unable to use 
I had a quick look at my logs tonight and saw that there is a timing out issue with the synchronisation that I am expecting is in someway affecting my resource download.
I have included my logs and hope that there will be some light at the end of this tunnel soon.

Quick update.......
It would appear that the resources are downloading, though rather slowly, last attempt froze at 4% so restarted the download process currently on 3%; could get there eventually....
Hopefully not by 4% chunks though.

Option: can open Indexer.log to monitor download progress (by default, log file scrolls when lines are written). Appears over 800 resources need to be downloaded. Potentially could experience same issue reported in forum => http://community.logos.com/forums/t/30422.aspx (after download done, may need to quit and relaunch Logos 4 Mac to start resource discovery).
Also can open Apple's Activity Monitor to watch Network usage. If no network traffic, have option to restart Logos 4 Indexer (or restart Mac).
Indexer.log file shows Bible indexing needed; which was cancelled by need to download more resources. Since Bible Indexing precedes Library Indexing, suspect indexing needed. Until indexing complete, Logos 4 Mac lacks usability (option: could open a resource for reading).

Having re-installed Logos and spent the better part of the last 3 days downloading the 6.5Gb's of resources I now have my Logos installation indexing.
I have noticed a couple of random things currently happening.
The first is that Logos seems to be crashing when I try to load one of my layouts,
After crashing when loading a layout and restarting Logos 4 keeps crashing (initial problem)
None of my note files will open, neither can I create a new one.
I am unsure if some of these issues are linked to the need to index the files, so hoping that somehow these get sorted out after indexing has finished.

Wonder if layout includes Biblical People ? Forum Logos 4.3 Beta 1 (4.30.0.0130) Crash documents repeatable crash when Biblical People includes Joseph.

Wonder if layout includes Biblical People ? Forum Logos 4.3 Beta 1 (4.30.0.0130) Crash documents repeatable crash when Biblical People includes Joseph.
Some of my layouts will have Biblical Places on through the passage guide, but I have those set at collapsed so as they don't run the search until I want them to. I just tried loading a layout up without Biblical Places on and that crashed Logos 4 too.
Download includes note files along with resources. Wonder if issue continues after indexing and sync complete ?
Waited till after indexing and syncing had finished, fired up logos and still no access to any of my note files, or clippings. I still can't create new note files or clippings either.

At 23:46, Indexing completed, At 23:49, appears Logos 4 Mac opened to Home Page, followed by crash at 23:50 while executing command to open a Notes document - needs Logos developer insight.

A problem I am having is it always quits when I try to run passage guide..otherwise working fine...

Wonder if forum http://community.logos.com/forums/p/31487/234300.aspx#234300 helpful ? Passage Guide has Biblical People section.

I deleted mine and saved the layout and it seems to work around the problem. I dont use BP that much so no big loss for now. This is definitely a glitchy beta though.

Appears 4.3 Beta 1 living up to some risks noted on Logos 4 Beta Program "... beta releases can be buggy: can crash (sometimes a lot), some features might not work as expected, may corrupt (or destroy) your data, or have any number of other unfortunate, unforeseen consequences."
From past experience, anticipate bug fixes in future Beta release(s) along with more risk opportunities (e.g. different crashes) and new feature(s) to use.

They have a really good track record. I have been doing this since early Alpha and once they got the main feature set down it has been remarkably stable.

I can work around most things, but not having access to my note files at the moment is not easy to get around. But if the only thing going wrong at the moment is not being able to open a note file then I can't really complain at all.

Hi Robert, I've had to do this too, to get me round the crashing on layout load up.
