Hi Brian, welcome to the Forum!

i am guessing that you are clicking on more which is found on the Home page ribbon.
1. When i click on more, i see a drop down list of my Bibles which are in my Library.
If you are not seeing a list of your Bibles, i suspect one of the following problems:
a. You do not own a Logos base package.
b. Or that your install is still in progress (e.g. your Logos library is still busy indexing) , or your indexing failed. If this is the case please leave more information so others here on the Forum can help you.
EDIT: you can tell if Logos is still indexing by seeing the icon in your taskbar. If you hold your mouse over the icon in the taskbar you should see a pop-up telling you the progress of indexing.

I bought/downloaded Scholar's Library package. I see no indication that it did not finish downloading/indexing. When I scroll over the icon in task bar it reads"Logos Bible Software 4".
If the indexing failed, what do I do?
Any other ideas?
BTW no I don't see a drop down list. I see the "search in" field but no list.

i may not have been clear which icon to look at, the icon that i was speaking about is located as shown below
EDIT: when did you install Logos4?
was it within the last few hours? (it usually takes at least a couple of hours for Logos4 to index, even longer on older computers)
If you installed it days ago, then you probably already indexed.
To get help from others more knowledgeable here on the Forum, you will need to turn logging ON and upload the log files. Logging is used to view what steps that Logos4 has completed. See this wiki page to learn how to turn on logging: http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Then after starting Logo4, you will need to upload those log files, see wiki page: http://wiki.logos.com/Uploading_Logs
Then others here on the forum can assist you.

Yes. That is where I was referring. Except mine is a Mac so maybe it doesn't mean the same thing....

No, you'll just see it up in the status bar instead of the PC task bar... same icon on top instead of down below.

The Mac icon is in the menu bar at the top right!
When Logos 4 indexer is downloading or indexing, blue Logos icon appears to the left of icons on upper right portion of menu bar
Can hover mouse over blue Logos icon for infomation.

I think mine has stopped working. The icon is gone, but I still see nothing for preferred bibles. I purchased the scholars edition a while ago, it is on my laptop and I am only now trying to install it on my desktop. I have the install disk, but it really did not install it, so I tried to install from the web. This process started last night, this morning the icon was there and said 72% was completed, now it is gone, but I still do not see any list of bibles nor are the other arrows in that general area working. What should I do? Should I go back and try to install from the disc or what? I will go to the site above and check logging. What I am able to see thus far is different from what is on my laptop in the format etc. Ella

Welcome [:D]
Please post logs; would like to check if indexing completed or crashed. Mac Troubleshooting page has How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac along with link to Logos Log Scribe
Option: Getting Started with Logos has Prioritize Library section. Preferred Bible is the first Bible in your prioritized Library list. If desire to do original language studying, good idea to prioritize English, Greek, and Hebrew Bibles in your Library.
