BUG: Indexing during download

Purchased the IVP Reference Collection which downloaded and installed to my laptop without incident. However, when I attempted to download to the desktop, nothing happened. "Update Now" gave the message "Updates are available and will be downloaded automatically", but nothing happened.
Quit L4 Mac 4.2a SR-3 and restarted. Still nothing. Deleted Updates.db and downloadmanager.db and restarted L4. Received indication that Logos was downloading updates. Soon after this, Growler informed me that indexing had started. But the download was still incomplete. After indexing was complete, discovered that only one resource from the collection had downloaded.
Once again, deleted Updates.db and downloadmanager.db and restarted L4. Logos began the download, but Growler soon notified me that indexing had started. Paused indexing, and the download proceeded as designed. The entire collection is now present in L4 on the desktop. Restarted indexing which is in progress now.
SUGGESTION: Application should prevent indexing during download of resources.
I don't know if these logs will reveal anything or not. I took them after the download was complete and after indexing was restarted.

Looking at Indexer.log file can see indexing happening while downloads are in progress for version 4.2a SR-3 (on Mac OS X 10.5.8, which shows as Unix 9.8.0.0 in Indexer.log). With Facebook and March Madness sales, plan to open Indexer.log and watch what happens as 14 resources are added to my Logos library. Logos 4 does incremental indexing so some new resources could be indexed while others are downloading, which could be good if download manager handles disk contention timing while indexer merging indexes.
In version 4.3 Beta 2 on PC, all resources were downloaded, had to restart Logos 4, then resources indexed and incrementally merged.
Edit: initial login to 2nd account on iMac using 4.2a SR-3 received known indexer error "Indexer was requested to run for a user other than the last logged-in user; exiting now." (later plan to test fix in 4.3 Beta 2 on Mac).
Watching 4.2a SR-3 on Mac OS X 10.6.7 (Unix 10.7.0.0 version), Indexer initially started, found nothing to update, then stopped. After sync manager update (included license information), resources checked, found 14 'Unknown' resources so started download. Observation: Logos 4.2a SR-3 on Mac has a living example of the first shall be last. Logos4.log file lists new resources; Indexer.log file shows downloads done in reverse order (e.g. last new resource listed was first to be downloaded). At 84 % complete for downloading, Network activity went quiet. Indexer.log file showed all 4 downloads should be in progress (all 14 queued updates downloading). Network activity spikes for Sync Manager.
Wonder if Sync Manager should be suspended while monitoring Indexer process for exit ? (instead of running every 5 minutes with contention accessing Logos servers)
After 5 successful sync's, but no further progress for 84 % complete (4 downloads not done), clicked "Cancel Downloading" causing dialog box to appear:
Created Download01 folder and copied logo files. After clicking OK, Logos 4 restarted. Indexer.log file showed 11 resources discovered, was starting to index, then cancelled indexing to download 3 more updates (23.8 MB). Then Indexer "froze" at 99 % download; network activity disappeared and Indexer.log file had "Setting Require Discovery."
Waited several minutes, noticed network spikes for Sync Manager downloads, then clicked "Cancel Downloading", which caused "Logos 4 Update Installer" to appear again. Closed Console; created Download02 folder inside Logging, then moved Logos.log and Indexer.log files to folder, then clicked OK, which restarted Logos 4 and one more download of 7.3 MB (indexer started download first this time).
Noticed "Resource discovery finished.", followed by "Setting status to BackgroundDownloading" with nothing to download plus not indexing. Clicked "Cancel Downloading" Growl showed one or more downloads have been cancelled. Indexer shutdown. Quit Logos 4.2a SR-3. Created Download03 folder; moved log files. Launched Logos 4 Mac. Indexer briefly appeared, to be followed by downloading 7.3 MB one more time, then "Logos 4 Update Installer" pop-up. Created Download04 folder, moved log files, then clicked OK. Indexer.log shows "Resource discovery started." and "14 resources need to be indexed, and will be merged into an index of 1,710 resources.", followed by "All background tasks have completed; exiting application." without indexing 14 resources (BUG).
Created yet another folder, moved log files, and quit Logos 4.2a SR-3, encountered Not Responding application for several minutes. Sampled application twice, noticed thousands of Context Switches (with 0.3 % CPU and 24 Threads). At 80,000 Context Switches, sampled third time. At 100,000 Context Switches, sampled fourth time. At 120,000 Context Switches, sampled fifth time, followed by Force Quit. Noted Activity Monitor had 1 recent hang. Created folder Resource01, moved log files and process samples. Waited for Time Machine to complete, then launched Logos 4.2a SR-3 one more time, and opened Indexer.log file. Again, Indexer.log file showed 14 resources needed indexing, but not done. Quit Logos 4 Mac, created Resource02 folder. Compressed collection and attached file.

Personally chose to not use Logos 4 Mac while Blue Logos icon in menu bar. Also choose to minimize my network contention while downloading.

Logos 4 does incremental indexing so some new resources could be indexed while others are downloading, which could be good if download manager handles disk contention timing while indexer merging indexes.
Apparently something needs modification, for indexing seems to stop the download.
n version 4.3 Beta 2 on PC, all resources were downloaded, had to restart Logos 4, then resources indexed and incrementally merged.
Does this mean that L4 Win does not start indexing during a download. I would check with the Mac Beta 2, but Beta 2 would not allow me to log in.

Correct. Logos 4.3 Beta 2 downloaded all 14 resources in one attempt, one restart, one incremental index.
Currently, my Logos 4.2a SR-3 configuration has 14 resources downloaded, but not indexed.
