BUG: disappearing links in note file

I've been trying to paste George Somsel's index to the ECF into a Logos note file (plus, just to check, I've been trying the same with one or two of Steve's files). At first it works perfectly, then, after a couple of minutes, all the links just disappear.
From an unrelated PC thread I picked up that the same thing seems to happen on PC when pasting from OpenOffice. So, since I'm using NeoOffice (which is based on OpenOffice) I'm assuming the underlying problem is the same. The PC folks found two workarounds: one involving L3, and one involving IE. Needless to say, I don't have L3 or IE. Nor do I have Word. And TextEdit won't keep the links at all.
As you can see I attached posts to both the above threads, but never received any help. Now I'm hoping you Mac folks can do better.
Is this a bug in Logos, or a bug in the OpenOffice code that Logos can't do anything about?
Is there a workaround that works on Mac? For example: Steve could convert his file to one that could be opened in IE, and pasting from that obviously did work. Can George's file be converted to something that can be opened in Safari or Firefox, and will that make the links more 'stable'?

LibreOffice 3.3.2.2 and Open Office 3.2 can open docx file on Mac then save as HTML, which can be opened in a web browser (e.g. Firefox or Safari):
4377.Early-Church-Fathers-TOC.html
Option: save HTML file to computer.

No difference, I'm afraid. The links still disappear after a while. I don't think one can use any method that involves OpenOffice or any of its 'relatives'. Maybe if someone could open the .docx file in Word, save it as HTML from there, and post that file?

That isn't my note file. Mine was organized alphabetically, not by volume.

Interesting, and sounds more useful, but didn't yours have to be imported from L3? I got this from the link in the OP, and assumed it was yours, just converted to another format.

Yes, it must be imported from L3 since that is the only way we can share note files at the moment.

I've filed a bug report on this.

Thank you, Melissa.
Still no one who can come up with a work around? Surely I can't be the only Mac user who've ever wanted to put the ECF index or one of Steve's files in a note [file]?

Since there appears to be a bug in the notes detecting the hyperlinks, there are only two possible workarounds I can think to use. The first would be the easiest and least time consuming, and the second could be very time consuming. The first would be to use the original text editor or word processor for the time being, and once the bug is fixed, copy and paste the text into Logos 4 notes. The second would be to highlight each link, one at a time, after pasting the text into the note, click into the Hyperlink box, and enter the corresponding URL. You can copy the URL from the .docx or .rtf document by editing the hyperlink.

I don't have enough RAM to keep NeoOffice open, nor do I have enough time to do all that linking. I was hoping that, since converting from Word to IE and then pasting from IE into Notes obviously works on PC, there would be a similar solution for Mac.
