WBC prepub vol 8 Judges

This prepub is closing soon, so I'd like to get the following question resolved quickly: As an owner of the WBC Logos series, will this volume become available at the Nelson Ministry "WBC New Releases" page? Cause if so, I will be able to get 50% off the list price as a series owner.

Any help would be appreciated.

It seems like you need to ask nelson as it seems they are the controllers of that page. Would it be electronic form from them?

I cannot imagine it would not. All the other volumes have. However, we won't know without a response from Nelson. If you contact them I think re-posting here would help a number of folks.

I will try contacting Nelson. They have always honoured the deal in the past. I guess what threw me this time was that Logos offered a new volume as a prepub. I don't think they've done that before.

I hope that if it is Nelson's policy to offer a discount deeper than the pre-pub price that Logos would honor that as an upgrade price for current owners of the WBC as well.

This might be worth checking out. Because right now, the Pre-pub price of $39.95 isn't any different then the prices offerred on Nelson's website. If we could get it for half the price (for those who own the set already), why wouldn't we? I'd love to give Logos my money and business, but in the end the cheaper price will win out.

I recently purchased the WBC set. It shows as 59 volumes in my library. I didn't purchase the 6 volume upgrade but those already appear to be part of what I have. According to the note on the Nelson website, 54 + 6 should be 60 volumes. Am I missing something? Would those of us who purchased recently and have 59 volumes still be eligible for this 50% upgrade price?

Read closely and you will see it is 50% off the list price.($49.99?)

You also have to own both the 54 volume WBC and the 6 volume upgrade and submit your Logos User ID to them.

Just remember when you buy off site you will be dealing with the third party's return policy. Does Nelson offer a satisfaction guarantee? Also, your purchase will not appear in your order history. Your license will of course be part of your Logos record after you download & sync it (if it works like other third party products.)

That is a lot of "ifs" & conditions for a $15 savings.....

I own the 59 volume set, so no worries there. Not too concerned with a return policy on the book either, as I'm not going to return it once purchased.

Saving $15 is saving $15 in my book, even if it requires a little extra effort.

Yes. 18B has not been produced yet, so I don't have that either. But I don't have 18A, even though that is part of the 59 volumes of the current "total" package...thus my count of 58.

18A came out some time after 2006. I purchased the set prior to its release, and then had to buy 18A when it was released. As an owner of the collection, however, I was able to purchase it for 50% off. The key is to watch the WBC new releases page.

I have volume 18A but only because I bought it from them separately later (along with Isaiah 1-33, 2nd ed). I can only presume it wasn't in your collection and you never picked it up later...

But I don't recall ever picking up any additional WBC titles and I, like others, have 58 volumes. They have never sold 58 volume sets, so we have some, but not all, of the resources released since the original 56 volumes were offered. I can't account for that discrepancy in my purchase history.

OK, So this is what I found. I don't use L4 but checked it and I have 18A in both L3 and L4.

This first scan is from the back of my 59 vol

Next I looke daround online and found these:

So as you can see there was a 54 volume, 6 volume upgrade, 58 volume, and a 59 volume.

I don't think the 54 or 58 volume contained the 18A but I could be wrong. If I come across anything else I will post.

An open question for those who have 58 volumes and are missing 18A...did you purchase WBC as part of the Nelson 325 Unlock? If so, as I did, it appears that we may have only purchased the 58 volumes. I couldn't find anything listing the 325's contents online (since it has been discontinued and Logos has recently updated the website), so I contacted Logos CS and a typically helpful young lady was able to dredge up something giving the details. She informed me that 18A didn't appear to be included. She was trying to email me the info, but was running into a crash situation due perhaps to file size. There may have been a promise at the time of my purchase to include 18A when it came out, but I'm fuzzy on that (I seem to remember such a statement, but I could be wrong). Without any documentation that includes such a statement, I suppose I will have to pick up 18A at a later time.

Clearly, as the pictures and the link to Nelson indicate, I was wrong in stating that there was never a 58 volume set...and it seems I have it, though I didn't realize it.

I can say this: at the time I bought the 325, I was certainly under the impression I was getting everything in the 54 + 6 sets (minus the duplicates). I assumed that 60 was more than 59...silly of me to rely on basic elementary math, I suppose.

If anyone has any documentation regarding the 325 Unlock that they can post, that would be helpful. Thanks.

I bought the 58 vol version in 2006 but have 59 vols (I do have vol 18A, Job 21-37). And, like Rob, I only have the revised versions of the duplicates. I thought I purchased vol 18a separately, but there is no record of it in my account. Was the WBC Series ever apart of the platinum package before Logos revised the contents? I upgraded from Gold to Platinum in 2009.

Thanks Mark. I thought I recalled purchasing Job 21-37 (vol 18a) as a pre-pub, but it's not listed in my order account. The only WBC item I have listed is the 58 vol set I purchased 5 yrs ago.

When I bought mine in October 2009 there were 59 volumes; so I guess it depends on when you bought as to what was "in" at the particular time
