No results in 'Search Bible' option for simple text

Hi,

I am newly upgraded to Logos 4 and just getting accustomed to the all new interface from v3.

Have installed Scholar version on home PC and laptop.

Home PC is working fine and does the search below OK.

I have a minor problem on the laptop though. Config is Win XP SP3, 2 GB RAM, Core2 Duo 2.4GHz

When I do a simple search for text such as Paul (see below) in the Bible view .... nothing is returned.

I do get results when I select the Basic option.

If I then select search option 'Top Bibles', the result is the same = 0 hits.

If I select 'All Bibles', I get a comprehensive listing, but it only searched 9 Bibles - and not what I would call the standard English language bibles that came with the Scholar version; KJV, NKJV, ESV, NIV, NASB, etc
And it does not include my preferred version, the NKJV.

I have also done the following which doesn't affect the '0' hits result:
Updated Resources
Rebuild Index
Tools, Program Settings, Reset Defaults
I also have no customised Collections - just a very basic installation

Log file also attached.

This is puzzling. Click the Library icon (the book image at top left) and enter type:bible in its Find box. What number is displayed in the box?

What number is shown for type:bible lang:English ?

If you perform a Basic Search for Paul in an English bible (NKJV, ESV, etc), do you get results as below?

Note: click All Text to select Bible Text.

Yes, I get a result as per the screenshot, but wonder why in this case I get a different number found to you for the same bible?

You will get 165 results in this Search if you have "Match all word forms" selected (top left corner, the "magnifying glass", click on it). 161 results is with "Match all word forms turned off".

The difference has been explained. If you get results in other English bibles then I suggest you:-

delete C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\fur0ouhh.ghp\BibleIndex
restart L4 - it should start to index your bibles

(you may need to enable Hidden files and folders in Control Panel | Folder Options).
