Can anyone advise how to set up a custom logos 4 guide to simply open favourite Bible and Commentary in linked side by side windows.  This was my most used option in Logos 3.  Can't find it in Logos 4- have to wait lengthy times for the multiple parallel searches to begin to offer some useful info in "Passage Guide" or "Exegetical Guide"

Sometimes less is more!

Hi Kenn - and welcome to the forums.

I suggest you have a look at http://wiki.logos.com/Layouts__

If that doesn't give you what you need, please post back

Here's a video of me setting this up: http://screencast.com/t/xxhMXzg1

I just chose ESV Study Bible as the commentary and linked it to ESV. The first thing you do is arrange your screen exactly how you'll want it.

Then just follow what I did in the video: Go to the Layout, rename the current snapshot, and then for easy access drag your layout up to the shortcut bar. Now whenever you want to quickly access this layout, click on that icon on the shortcut bar. Then navigate to the passage you want to study.
