Please, please can focus issues be fixed?

I run into various keyboard- and focus-related issues frequently. These have been documented elsewhere, but one in particular continues to irritate. I'll press Cmd+Shift+S to run a search, and then check the search pane's "Send searches here" checkbox. After searching, clicking on results, etc. I want to do another search. So I press Cmd+Shift+S again and nothing happens. What should happen is that the current search pane should be focused and the search-text field should receive input focus and have the current text selected so that typing a new search overwrites the current search text.
This is a truly simple usability issue that could be fixed (should Logos be willing) really easily. And yet these issues continue to languish, now buried under the mountain of bugs and issues created by the latest PBB and other additions.
Please, please will Logos focus on attending to simple (basic) usability issues instead of simply piling on new features. I'm not against new features, but the backlog of longstanding bugs is becoming telling.

This case is active, considered important, and a fix will be available in a future release.

Please can this be prioritized as part of the 4.5 release train...?

Further to this, the long-standing other focus issues (see http://community.logos.com/forums/p/27207/207119.aspx#207119) all still exist. It would be wonderful if 4.5 could be "polished" and get rid of these long-standing bugs and annoyances.
