Welcome
Thread => What is more useful in Libronix 3.0g ? (especially compared to Logos 4.5a) includes reply by Bob Pritchett (CEO) on 6 Mar 2012 => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/46104/346381.aspx#346381 that includes:
Bob Pritchett: Rosie Perera: Sermon File (this was on the "missing features" list) We were planning on replacing this with something different, but have been convinced otherwise. We are presently re-specifying the feature for inclusion in the 4.x time frame.

Personally have no idea when for Logos 4 Sermon File.

Thanks for pointing that out! I am in no rush since the Libronix - Logos 4 work-around still works.
Any news on the Sermon File Addin? I am still working with Libronix as long as that is possible. Is Libronix even compatible with Win 8?
OllieM66:Is Libronix even compatible with Win 8?
No.
OllieM66:Any news on the Sermon File Addin?
There has been a new version of the Sermon File Addin for some time (more than a year)... but it is a completely new system utilizing the personal book builder. Sermons are added to Logos by compiling Microsoft Word .docx files.
macOS, iOS & iPadOS | Logs | Install
there will be no Sermon File Addin.
LOGOS has decided to replace it with personal books tool.
I see... Thank you! Can I transfer my old sermon file (which was like a book in my library) to the new system?

I think the answer is no... or at least, you can't maintain it. (I think you can import the file, but I am not sure). I am a Mac user and don't have access to that tool (although I technically do own it ) to test it out for you.
I <think> that I found an answer... in the link below, the wiki talks about importing sermons from libronix.

"yes", BUT:
Libronix 3 must stay on your computer.
Logos 4/5 runs as a separate program
Make sure that Windows update does NOT update your IE browser to IE10. It is NOT patched for Libronix 3.
You will also have to "tell" Logos 4/5 where your Libronix Resources are so that it can find that resource entitled "Sermons of xxx" and/or "Illustrations of xxx."
You already know that in L3 you tell the software/browse to the resource path from within the Tools menu etc.
In L4/5 you type this information into a command line, proceeded by a SCAN COMMAND--THEN RE-BOOT AND THE SOFTWARE SHOULD EVENTUALLY FIND YOUR RESOURCE.
There are folks on this Forum who can help OR put you could put this request on the Libronix Forum and you will receive further help.
Regards, SteveF
You are right. It sounds like it should be possible. I'll have to look into this. Thanks!
Thanks, SteveF
I have Libronix running on my Windows 8.1 machine. I did a new install when I got my new computer, and then I copied all of my files to the new machine.
While I do use L5 most of the time, I still can and do use L3.
I just re-installed Libronix on my laptop after re-installing Win 7. Previously sermon file addin worked just fine. But now I am experiencing the following error: "Word was unable to import this file". I use Word 2010. What am I overlooking/doing wrong. Apparently you had no problems installing it on a machine running Win 8.
Oliver:Previously sermon file addin worked just fine.
My Libronix Sermon File no longer works either.
This may have changed when the Logos 5 version was finally released?
The thing is though, that I had Libronix and the Sermon File Addin running on the exact same machine with Win 7. Then re-installed Win 7 and Libronx and now receive the error message. So I hope I can get it to run again.
Are you receiving the same error message as I, SteveF?

I have archived and tagged hundreds of messages and really hope I can get this up and running again.

Yes. It may be that I missed an install file when I reformatted my HD, reloaded Win7 and then reloaded Libronix onto my laptop. That was the only "part" of L3 that did not start right back up.
Fortunately, those Libronix sermons that I had, were "caught" by Logos 4/5 and turned into a L4/5 resource named "Sermons of 'x' " etc.
However, I just never took the time to search on my old PC towers to see if there had been a Sermon File add-in .exe file.
