Important Change to Synchronization coming in next Beta for Notes, custom Highlighting styles, Favor

Please Note: Important Change to Synchronization coming for Notes*, custom Highlighting styles*, Favorites, and some Preferences**
When 4.5 Beta 1 is released, Logos 4 will be using the new Sync v2 service to synchronize your Notes*, custom Highlighting styles*, Favorites, and some Preferences**. This is similar to the change to Sync v2 for Copy Bible Verses during the 4.3 Beta.
This change will affect those users who log in under the same account on two computers, where one is running the stable 4.3 version and the other is running the 4.5 Beta:
- Changes made to the features above on the computer running 4.3 will not be synchronized to the computer running the 4.5 beta.
- Changes made to these features on the computer running the 4.5 Beta, will not be synchronized to the 4.3 install.
- All other data will continue to sync to the server normally.
- When the stable version is updated to 4.5, modified items will be sent to the Sync v2 service and merged with your current data.
*IMPORTANT: The 4.5 Beta will include major improvements to how Notes and Highlighting are saved and how they reference custom styles. More information about this will be provided prior to release. Due to these improvements, and the Sync v2 changes, the usual warnings about participating in Logos 4 Beta testing are especially important to consider.
**Sync v2 for certain Preferences, such as SavedResourcePosition, will improve syncing of these values with mobile clients.

Melissa,
You refer to the 4.5 Beta. Will there be no 4.4 or is this a very advance heads-up?

Come on now, Melissa--if you don't answer this straight up, any number of conspiracy theories are going to percolate around the forums . . . [:D]

4.4 is probaly what they have been messing around with internally.. 4.5 soundgs good to me, as it sounds like its gonna be a big step - so no probs here with 4.5

But those are so fun to read.... ;o) As noted in another thread, we're skipping 4.4 and moving on to 4.5.

This bodes very well I think for notes and highlighting appearing on the mobile platforms

If that is true...and that seems a good possibility, that would be the reason to use my wife's iPad for Bible classes. As of now I need to print out my highlighted Bible and notes.
I am pumped with anticipation!

Nah - thats already happened [:(] Bob said it was going to be here shortly - thats about 6 mth back now..
Looking forward to it, just have to debate whether to "beta it" or be patient as I guess the likelyhood of highlighting on my android is still a few months off...

what I mean is...,
With them having to release an updated mobile app for this to sync to, (which I supect is already written and tested internally for iphone) , I would expect a fast beta cycle of 4.5.thats my 2c
