Introducing New Testament Discourse Grammar: Video Series is to ship on September 8, a long wait from what I have gathered in doing thread searches. I watched the videos and am quite intrigued, and then I read the endorsements of Discourse Grammar of the Greek New Testament: A Practical Introduction for Teaching and Exegesis and have about become convinced to order the video series and the Greek New Testament Discourse Bundle, which includes the grammar, and also Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible Bundle in pre-pub (why not go for broke? ).
What do you think about the Lexham discourse materials that have been released thus far? Great? Helpful? Worth the investment? Not interested? As I've stated in another thread, I let my languages fall into disuse while doing a PhD and need to get back on track.
Thanks.
Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament is my # 1 prioritized Greek resource (and my # 5 Top Bible).
If pre-pub Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible Bundle gathers enough interest to be developed and shipped, then Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible would become my # 1 prioritized Hebrew Bible resource.
Wiki Logos Resource Reviews => Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament has several pages of examples plus links to several forum threads and blog articles.

Introducing New Testament Discourse Grammar: Video Series is to ship on September 8
Revised ship date Tue 13 Sep. Looking at video resource description and Lexham Discourse Grammar noticed many video topics in table of contents; likewise noted discussion about many Greek conjunctions in Discourse Grammar (anticipate video series would explain, elaborate, and contrast conjunction usage). From videos on Introducing New Testament Discourse Grammar: Video Series, wonder about nail gun illustration(s) in video series ?
Related discourse pre-publication => Discourse Studies and Biblical Interpretation: A Festschrift in Honor of Stephen H. Levinsohn ships couple days later.
Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament (and Lexham High Definition New Testament) include Emphasis highlighting (shows Greek words that have been moved from nominal word order for Emphasis). Likewise background highlighting shows clauses with relevant background information (not part of main verbal action in sentence). Currently not have Greek paradigms memorized so lack ability to sight read Greek with correct word parsing; hence parts of Greek New Testament are Greek to me.
Wiki Extended Tips for Visual Filters => Examples of visual filters includes a screen capture showing 10 visual filters, including 1 for Discourse Analysis and 5 for Logos Greek Morphology. Thankful Logos can combine highlighting showing discourse and grammatical usage (some words have 5+ highlights) so can visually look for usage patterns. Also easy to see different verb tense and mood usage (e.g. imperative mood in Philippians 4:4-8).
Thankful for Greek New Testament Discourse Bundle (and pre-publication purchase 3 Dec 2010).
Looking forward to pre-publications Introducing New Testament Discourse Grammar: Video Series and Discourse Studies and Biblical Interpretation: A Festschrift in Honor of Stephen H. Levinsohn shipping next week.
Likewise pre-ordered Lexham Discourse Hebrew Bible Bundle months ago (still gathering interest); hoping for more orders so resource can be developed and shipped. With Emphasis highlighting, already know Discourse Hebrew Bible would be my top prioritized Hebrew Bible resource.
