I have made an index to all of the Morris Proctor tips for using Logos4, other blogs I thought would be helpful and the forum posts that were recommended in the Weekly Roundup. I have not gone through the forum looking for posts - I'd love it if you'd toot your own horn ... or point out posts you've found particularly interesting.

This is done as a reading list so that you can mark those tips you've read or find irrelevant; new items will always be visible as unread. If you only read a hint or two a day - and actually try it - you should learn Logos 4 at a steady pace. Your pace. Your choice of sequence and topic.

To start.

1. Select reading list under the topic button

2. This brings up the reading list pane - which shows the last reading list you've used

3. to navigate to the new reading list, click on All lists

4. Enter the name of the reading list "Logos blog tips"

5. Select the reading list

Start your studies.

MJ, if I didn't know better, I would say that you work for Logos. Thanks. By the ending of this year, it would be good if all of us could come up with a collaborative project to create some sort of manual. Say a PB, which is constantly updated, and have a final editor. That way we only after the "editor" has finished uploaded or stamped a seal of approval, would it become official.

I imagine something like this could be updated once a month. By the way, two versions. One for the beta, and the other for the stable.

So Logosians, what do you think?

It took Morris Proctor 144 pages and his staff to do just the 1st volume of his manual.

I think Logos needs to hire a staff person to put this together. We still don't know all the hidden things, which i am sure Logos does. After making several wiki pages i realize the amount of work involved. So i really think Logos needs to pay for their own product's manual. Just my opinion.

Lynden, I like the idea but unfortunately know too much about system documentation to think we could pull it off. MP has the advantage of writing for a single audience - he can omit many of the complexities that drive people to ask/seek advanced/complex help. One also has to recognize that MP produces some of the best software teaching material I've seen. He has a broad base of skills, and likely access to copy editor and graphic artist, that we as users don't have.

Added "Forum has New way to learn Logos – and how you can help (Reading List with links to many Blog articles and Forum discussions, grouped by topic)" to wiki Getting Started with Logos => Learning Logos

Added Reading List to Favorites for quick access; then renamed Favorite item => "Reading List - Logos Blog Tips" plus dragged to shortcut bar.  Thankful can check items (learned something new or already knew); still have more to learn in Logos 4.

Keep Smiling Smile

Thank you! I had started adding the blogs to my "notes" ... this is a much better solution and can be shared and updated for everyone. Yes
