The Pop-Down That Will Not Die

Here is a problem that I continue to encounter on a regular basis. I do a search and then attempt to change the display by adding a translation in parallel with the Hebrew (in this case I wanted the ESV alongside BHS, but it has happened with other resource combinations). After I select the second text (in this case ESV), the pop-down that allows the user to select the resource will not go away. It remains open, hiding the content beneath it, no matter what I do (see image below).
In the example shown above, I had closed the search panel, hoping that it would go away when the panel that generated it was closed, but it did not. Even executing the 'Close All' command to go back to the home page did not help (see below).
Opening another saved layout also did not get rid of it. The only way to get rid of this is to close Logos altogether and restart it.
I am reporting this in the beta form since I am using 4.5β3, but I do not think that it is a beta problem. I have had similar experiences using the stable releases as well as the betas for some now.
By the way, thanks for working on the problem of scaling text in search (and some other) windows. When the solution is fully implemented it will resolve a long-standing issue. I appreciate your dedication to steady improvement of the product.

Sorry, but the images did not 'stick' in the post when I pasted them in. As they were just on my clipboard, I no longer have them. I will re-post pictures the next time it happens.

Option: for pictures on clipboard, can open Preview, then use File => New (command + N), followed by save as using PNG format. In forum reply, use paper clip to attach file. Wiki Using the Forums => Adding a picture to a Post has illustrations.
Puzzling: trying to add LHI as version, resulted in spinning beach ball and pegged CPU:
Does have a persistent "Search" pop-up. Sample of unresponsive program included with logs:

We'll review your logs. I'm also getting the spinning beach ball when I add versions in the Mac, although, the version does get added. I'll report the performance issue to development.
The 'Add Versions' Resources field will accept titles or abbreviations, but not search fields. Just type 'lhi' there and the field will be populated with 'LHI'.

With many spinning beach balls, changing version(s) can be done for Morph Search with 6,828 results, albeit slowly (when Logos 4.5 Beta 3 is working offline).
