PBB Wigging out; Indexing issue (related?)

I've never had so much as a hiccup with L4 on any of my machines until now.
I was building a personal book without realizing L4 was indexing...when I built the book, the indexer crashed.
Now, L4 starts to try to index, but never gets to 1% before the indexer simply disappears.
On top of that, my PBB is now suddenly and arbitrarily closing right in the middle of a build.
Is there a command line command to force a re-index?
Any ideas how I can fix whatever it was I messed up? (I don't yet know if this is affecting my other computer yet.)
(Yes, I've restarted both L4 and Windows already.)

I have not had the indexing issue but in the last couple of days have had PB issues. While I am typing in the name, author, adding the file or building at various times it has crashed on me. I wonder if this issue is known.

Would like to look at diagnostic logs => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
For indexer logs, need to enable logging in registry, then restart Logos 4.

rebuild index
rebuild bible index
rebuild catalog index
The rebuild index command deletes then builds bible and catalog indexes.
Option: contact Logos Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact With your permission, Logos can connect with desktop sharing (Monday thru Friday).

Ensure that logging is still enabled.
Ensure you can view Hidden Files and Folders (Control Panel | Folder Options).
Go to folder C:\Users\borenjb\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\qt5pld3f.dzu\
If \LibraryIndex folder has files with names containing '-build' then delete it.
If \BibleIndex folder has files with names containing '-build' then delete it.
If \PersonalBookIndex folder has files with names containing '-build' then delete it.
Restart L4 and it will begin indexing.
NB. A normal index will look like below - DO NOT delete it.
If it still crashes I need to see the Logos4Indexer.log.
