Highlighter Palette for smaller notes input needed

I haven't seen any topics concerning Highlighter palette setups so to create a smaller note file, so i was interested how user are working with highlights now. I wanted to share my basic thoughts (although it is a work in progress and will probably change once I delve a little deeper) and I wanted to see how others are setting things up to keep the highlighter note files smaller.

My basic idea was to divide into, Bible, Commentary (Divided into smaller Portions of 1-3 books of the Bible), Dictionaries and Monograph Highlight Palettes.

I saw somewhere that some were dividing Palettes into Commentary series or individual books, How are you making the Highlighter note files smaller, or are you using the general highlighter note files for everything (e.g. Solid, Emphasis, etc. )

Thanks in advance for any input or good ideas, to help organize my chaos!

At this point I have chosen rather than dividing my highlight palletes up into different categories or resource or even individual books / series, just to stick with my 'basic' set of palletes and set the option to save to my most recent note file. This way I can organize all of my highlights by the particular study I am doing and hide/show them as I need. There is value though in the approach you are using and I might adopt something like that at some point along the way.
