Is there a way?

See my picture:
Notice the yellow highlighting on the left and notice the note it makes in 4.5 SR2 for MAC on the right. Is there a way for the complete text that is highlighted to appear in the note file rather than it being truncated with an ellipsis? I click on "compact" and "full" but these don't seem to address this. The reason for this would simply be to print out the highlighting from a book along with any notes I've made.
Thanks!

John - Great idea! Unfortunately, I don't know a way to do it. Actually, your idea is very similar to a new feature in Apple's Textbook initiative. When you highlight text, it instantly becomes a notecard, which you can use to study with.
I think that the reason Logos has the highlighting note file works this way is 1) to help you identify the highlight the note goes to (it shows you where the highlight begins and ends) and 2) to keep the note file small and more manageable (it shows just the beginning and end of the passage).

That's why I like clippings.

No, but it's been suggested. You can give it a thumbs up here: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/44243/330197.aspx#330197.

Please vote for Logos User Voice suggestion => Highlighting and Notes Integration Improvements that includes:
"Please add Note indicator customization options. e.g. letter(s), which could use capabilities of Logos display engine on all platforms, including superscript and subscript. In Notes file, please add miniature of style used for that entry along with sort by style. For note titles, please add choice to show abbreviated or complete highlighted selection."

John,
I completely agree with you. I would also like the ability to have the entire selected text a part of the note file. I know that there are clippings but there are advantages to having it in highlights and would love to have it as an option. Thanks.
