Opening a Bible from Reading Plan opens PG and Explorer window as well

Running 4.5a B2

I have just opened a Bible from a Reading Plan and Logos 4 opened a Passage Guide and Explorer Window for the passage as well!

This only happens if I have a blank layout (I typed "Close All") before switching to the home page and clicking on the Reading Plan and is consistently repeatable.

Can someone please check this and see if they get the same?

Thanks, Graham

  • If click reading plan in Home Page ribbon, concur Passage Guide and Explorer open.  If open reading plan from a shortcut (or file menu), then click passage, only Bible opens.

    Hi KS4J

Thanks for confirming this, hopefully it will be easy for Logos to fix.

  • Seem to remember clicking reading plan from Home Page ribbon normally opens Passage Guide and Explorer along with Bible.

I don't remember seeing this before but I'm not sure if I have opened a Reading Plan this way previously when I had a blank layout "behind it"

I'll be interested to see what Logos have to say about it!

I too seem to remember this behavior has been there for a long time, which I have never really been a fan of. I wish for Reading Plan it just opened the Bible.

The thing that makes me think this is really strange is that I only get the PG and Explorer window if I don't have any windows open before clicking on the Reading Plan!
