Morph Search on TR1894

I am having difficulty getting a morph search on the 1894 Scrivener's TR.
I have my search parameters as follows:
Search ALL MORPH TEXT in COLOSSIANS in TR1894MR with ROBINSON GREEK MORPHOLOGY for:
I type @ and the window opens
I choose VERB then INDICATIVE - the program fills in the search box.
I tell it to start and it returns 0 results
I delete one of the ? in the search box and I get 96 results. (I get a similar response for SUBJUNCTIVE.
This workaround does not work for any other morphs.
What is going on?

Welcome to the forum! I can duplicate this behavior. Even a @V search comes up empty. I suspect there is a bug, either with the resource or with the way the indexer deals with it.
If you see this in time, edit your subject with BUG:
http://wiki.logos.com/Using_the_Forum#Editing_or_deleting_posts
hopefully Logos will fix this for you soon.

I can reproduce this error and have filed a bug. I'm not currently sure what the cause is, so I don't know if there's an easy workaround or fix for the issue, unfortunately.

Open Scriveners and Esv Interlinear, go to 1:3, there are many verb forms there. If I understand correctly a verb is an action word, so if you are looking for a particular, this should give you some ideas on the morph structure for the search.[the verb must be ‘showing/displaying/pointing to’ the action of xxxxxx]
verb
— n
1.
(in traditional grammar) any of a large class of words in a language that serve to indicate the occurrence or performance of an action, the existence of a state or condition, etc. In English, such words as run, make, do, and the like are verbs
2.
in modern descriptive linguistic analysis
a. a word or group of words that functions as the predicate of a sentence or introduces the predicate
b. ( as modifier ): a verb phrase
[C14: from Latin verbum a word]

Sad to say, nothing has changed. But it is a simple fix, when Logos get around to it.

Observation: ESV reverse interlinear uses Logos Greek Morphology. The Logos morphology @VPUP-PNM corresponds with Robinson Greek Morphology @VP?EP?PNM
Wonder about Greek Morphological tagging in TR1894MR since a search using Logos Greek Morphology finds results in TR1894MR:
Likewise Elzevir Textus Receptus (1624) can be searched using Logos Greek Morphology:
Right click in Elzevir and TR1894MR have Logos Greek Morphology tagging (instead of Robinson Greek Morphology).

KS4J,
This be true. Why I cannot say, but I noticed that this is functional many years back.
Maybe, Hopefully - a Techie from the Logos Book Programming Dept could log in and give us a better understanding of how this is.....it may be possible that the two different types of Morphology's are so similiar that they rarely make the distinction....I do not know but this does sound plausible.

Yes! I remember this working in earlier updates of Logos4. I still have Libronix3 on an old laptop. I have to use that to get accurate results.

It appears that someone has fixed the bug. Things are now working like they are supposed to. Thank you.

I don't know what to say now. I am more confused. I cannot get the results I did on Saturday. Does this have something to do with LOGOS MORPHOLOGY vs. ROBINSON MORPHOLOGY?

Dear Room4more - I am not getting the options you get on your screens.

Ok, I just did the same routine again and this from a fresh startup of L4, nothing open, just clicked the mag-glass[search] typed in the @V??I and did the @V??S as well, using the same choices and got the same results from what you see in the pics….[Sub. had fewer hits]

Appears starting with a Bible Search of TR1894MR using Logos Greek Morphological code works (e.g. @V??I), then can change to Morph Search. Caveat: Morph Search pop-up is not usable to build search since TR1894MR has Robinson Greek Morphology pop-up:
.
Robinson Greek Morphology search for indicative verbs is @V???I (finds nothing in TR1894MR)
Logos Greek Morphology search for indicative verbs is @V??I (finds lots of indicative verbs in TR1894MR)
Doing a Bible Search using my Greek Bibles collection with Logos Greek Morphology code for imperative verbs @V??M shows Elzever and TR1894MR have Logos Greek Morphological tagging:
Philippians 4:4 has two imperative verbs. The Bible Grid results show four Greek Bibles with Robinson Greek Morphology where @V??M finds middle voice verbs. Note: Philippians 4:3 has a middle voice imperative verb so @V??M matches both Logos and Robinson.

We've decided to change the morphology in this and other resources using Robinson to Logos. The work is complete and the update will be released shortly.
My apologies for the delay.

Looking forward to resource switch to Logos Greek Morphology [:D] so can use Logos Greek morphological filters in English Reverse Interlinear resources and more Greek resources.
