Version 4.50.0.1893 (SR5) says it is downloading 81.9Meg of updates, but nothing gets downloaded--even after many hours waiting
First enable logging -->http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging
Restart L4 and let it "download". Check the % complete by clicking on the L4 icon in the Windows notification Area, bottom right.
If no progress is being made then upload Logos4.log, logos4Indexer.log and any Error log.
Thanks DaveI logged the errors and noticed from the error file that the problem was that L4 was not able to resolve the address 'services.logos.com', which seemed like a DNS issue. So, on a hunch, I rebooted my m/c to reset the DNS stack, etc, and when I restarted L4 it downloaded and started reindexing.
It later downloaded further resources OK
I hibernated my m/c last time I used it, and the DNS stack must have got corrupted somehow--though my browser was behaving normally.
All OK now
