Hi everyone have been using logos 4 for quite sometime. When I switched on my computer to load logos the page loaded but had a message along the top left FIRST-TIME INDEXING UNDERWAY, EVERYTHING SEEMS TO FUNCTION OK BUT THERE IS NO HOME PAGE.

I have Typed in the REBUILD INDEX IN THE COMMAND BOX . as I type it is indexing ever so slowly hoping that at the end of this exercise it will work as normal. But has anyone else had this and if so what was the solution?

Nope. Everythings good here, if you are rebuilding the index try not to interrupt it and let it do a good one….

Hi Room4more

Rebuilding the Index did not work.

I have no home page content with message along the top left First-time indexing Underway.

Hi Robert

The first-time indexing message is normal when doing a full index rebuild.

Have you customised your settings to stop the Home Page loading? (The bottom check box in the diagram below)

Hi  The home page is displayed but no Content on it. No Pages listed no adverts etc . Yet all the other functions seem to be ok.

I have been operation on this computer for sometime now the specification is ok but it may have been when it was updating that I could have interupted it maybe corrupted a file

I am guessing.

Thanks for being concerned.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the help on this one. Eventually had to contact Tech Support.

They took over my computer for a while and removed one NET.FILE and reinstalled it.

It still didn't work But the Guy discovered that there was something on the Home Page that was not letting it open properly.

It turned out to be I had set a reading plan from a Book that was not recognised as a bible and it Hung up.

We removed the reading plan and hey presto it worked.

Thanks for all the concern Guys

Blessings Bob Ringland.

Hi Robert

Good to hear you have it working again.

But the problem sounds strange as it is perfectly acceptable to have reading plans for non-Bible books.
