It may be due to a corrupt layout. Try starting Logos to a blank layout as per http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_Not_Starting

You can then attempt to load a different layout or reconstruct your layout.

Dave,

Thank you. I had seen reference to holding down the CTRL key, tried it, and it didn't work (still crashed). I did not check the box to start in a blank layout, which was clearly laid out in the instructions you linked from the wiki site.

I followed the instructions (original idea!) and Logos opened without crashing! The layout was entirely blank, but I was able to open my study layout without difficulty or crashing. (That was a bonus. I was anticipating the need to reconstruct the layout.)

Thank you for the link. Saved me lots of fretting.

Erik

Can you load Logos 4 correctly in the standard way now?

Yes, but it opens to my Sunday School layout, not my Tuesday group layout (which is the one involved in the crash). I haven't tried that yet.

I will try opening L4 with the Tuesday layout on Sunday or Monday. I will purpose to report on that Monday.

No crash when loading L4 with my Tuesday work space. Not sure what the problem was, but it is working.
