What are community notes and how do you use them.
Hey Mike!
Community notes is a new feature of Logos 4.5b. It is part of the new "Faithlife" program. It isn't designed to be social media like Facebook, but rather a way for "real life" groups (small groups, sunday school, etc) to share.

Is it working yet?
Yes, but you have to have a faithlife account. In my screen shot, notice the green "callout" icon. When you click on that, it will open the note in a new panel. If you are interested, you should read Bob's post HERE.

Can you recommend an active group
The purpose is to have real life groups, not necessarily ones formed by strangers on the internet. You should also be aware that faithlife is in its infancy stage. There are several beta test groups (i.e. the "faithlife beta" group), but these are really just groups learning to use the platform rather than "real" groups doing bible study together.

Dunno, don't do mac, but you can login and peruse the different groups and pic one that is currently in session. You can be an observer and just read, knowing that it is still in beta format.....there is a forum dedication to "faithlife.com Beta" that you can peruse as well....
hope this helps...
