Mike - First, welcome to the forums! Sorry you are having troubles.
From reading your logs, it appears that there is a problem with a resource position. Have you tried loading to a blank layout? Press and hold the command key immediately upon starting the app. See if that works for you.
ResourceUtility | FormatException for saved position: Article=wis-11.6|ArticleLength=2243|Context=k.%20%0a23:3.%20Yahweh%20ren|Offset=762|OffsetInContext=10|Resource=LLS:29.2.5|Version=2007-06-13T23:46:49Z

FYI - The resource is:
Smith, James E. The Wisdom Literature and Psalms. Old Testament Survey Series. Joplin, MO: College Press Pub. Co., 1996.
Yes, already tried opening a blank layout. Once a resource tries to open, it crashes again.
So how do I change the resource position?
Are you saying that when you open the last used layout (with the smith resource), the app crashes; or are you saying that when you use a brand new layout and open the resource it crashes?
When the app opens to a blank layout, when I access any resource it crashes. So far that applies to the Bible and one other library commentary.

Perhaps your copy of those resources are corrupted. A rather cumbersome way to replace these with fresh copies follows:
Hide the resources (at the bottom of the Preferences window)
Restart Logos—This will remove them from your system.
Unhide the resources by dragging them out of the hidden list
Restart Logos—This will force Logos to download them to your machine.
Restart is necessary after each hide unhide in order to complete the transaction.
Hi MIke,
I'm sorry for the trouble. I'll follow up with you offline.
Okay, I renamed the documents folder, then restarted, and Logos worked again. But now, I have at least one resource, a commentary, and although I can scroll through it without a problem, if I enter a Bible text into the search window, the whole program shuts down. I don't have to press enter, just backspacing to delete the current reference, or entering letters or numbers causes a shut down. Any ideas?
Having more problems now. I'm available if you want to call and take over the fix - Mike
