This appears to be the same crash reported in another thread; please see my response there: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/55419/401068.aspx#401068
It's been quite a while since I created a new visual filter. Does that change things?
There was a bug in handouts in Beta 3 that could "resurrect" old handouts that had been deleted a long time ago. I don't know if this applies to visual filters or not, but it's possible that the same thing could have happened.
Take a look at the top of the File menu for Visual Filters that have been modified recently, particularly any you don't remember editing. If some are there, they may have been brought back to your system by a bug in sync. Document Indexing starts two minutes after startup (and then crashes) so you have a couple of minutes to look for errant visual filters and delete them.
An extreme workaround would be to delete all visual filter documents, but this would obviously remove ones that you might have spent a long time creating. Hopfeully, looking for just recently-modified ones will do the trick.
Deleting one of the filters solved it. I never modified it, so I'm not sure when or how it got changed, but I'm glad Logos is working again. Thanks for the help. Blessings!
This issue should be fixed in Beta 4. Please let us know if you experience this issue after updating.
