I just got Logos4Mac Bible Study edition a few days ago. I'm very impressed and excited so far. I'm just wondering where to start. There's so much, it can be overwhelming. I'm currently going over Matthew 5:17-20 with the small group I lead. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I've heard only good things about the forum users here at Logos. I'm looking forward to being a part of this community.

I've found the following logos training videos put together by Mark Barnes to be extremely helpful in getting oriented and up and running. As I've implemented the tips, tricks, and best practices introduced by Mark, I've found that I am much more effective and enjoying the tool much more.

Also, be sure to check out the Logos Wiki which has tons of helpful information:

Enjoy!

Texas Stevens IV:
I'm currently going over Matthew 5:17-20 with the small group I lead.

My favorite Logos feature is visual filter highlighting in English and Greek resources with appropriate tagging:

Noticed Matthew 5:18 "accomplished" is a Greek middle voice.  The Lexham Discourse Greek New Testament includes emphasis highlighting; personally added a visual highlight to place a wavy underline for emphasis.  Also noticed the phrase "the kingdom of heaven" occurs three times in Matthew 5:19-20

Matthew 5:24 has four verbs in the imperative (command) mood.
