Error On Installing Updates

Hello,
Whenever a new update is installed, I receive the following error:
Warning 1909. Could not create Shortcut Logos Bible Software 5.lnk. Verify that the destination folder exists and that you can access it. This error is not exclusive to Logos 5. I started getting this error with the last couple of updates for Logos 4.
I'm not sure why I'm receiving this error since after the updates, the shortcuts appear both on the Desktop and Start Menu.
Windows 7 64-bit; The UAC setting is set to Never notify.
Thanks,
Dan

Do you have Logos installed in the default destination folder or in another location?

I've had this error in the past. I think it might have been because I created a shortcut manually at some point, and Logos couldn't overwrite it. If you delete the shortcut manually just before you next allow an update, it should sort the problem out.

Hi Mark,
I remember reading Bradley commenting on this recently on another thread. I have tried searching, but can't find it at the moment.
I recall that it is specifically related to pinning the shortcut to the ribbon at the foot of the home page in Windows 7. Bradley advised that unpinning the the shortcut fixes the issue.

Thanks Andy. I do have a shortcut pinned to the task bar. I'll unpin it before installing the next update.
