How to feedback to Logos team regarding Data Sets databases?
The new data sets and the features that utilise them like the 'Bible Sense Lexicon' are great.
After having upgraded to version 5 and looking at new features I was wondering if there was going to be/was planned for a structured way to feedback to the Logos team regarding information related to the data sets.
For example I was looking at Lamb in terms of 'Lamb of God' (see screenshot). In the 'Bible Sense Lexicon' tool when you look for 'lamb' for the purpose of Jesus as the sacrificial lamb (person | Jesus, Jesus of Nazareth | The Lamb) it only shows the only greek word 'ἀρνίον' which is used exclusively in Revelation. However in other verses — John 1:29 & 36; 1 Peter 1:19 — the word 'ἀμνός' is used. If we were to extend this metaphorically then the word 'πάσχα', which originally has the sense of Passover, then was then extended to include Jesus as the Passover Lamb could be used (1 Cor 5:7).
Anyway my point/question is, is there any (structured) mechanism where users can provide feedback to the Logos team responsible for data sets, not necessarily like the report typo option but something similar. This would have the benefit of getting feedback to improve and enhance this valuable new feature in Logos 5.

If it's something where they may be different views, it might be worth creating a post here, then after it's been discussed by users alerting Sean Boisen. He's in charge of these things at Logos.

Hi, thanks for follow up — if we take the example I shared above then what would you think about the point? If one considers that the purpose of the Bible Sense Lexicon is to gather up source data (original language words and/or verses) to then explain and expand a (English) concept like "Lamb of God" then it would seem that, at a minimum, the directly translated as 'lamb' ἀμνός should be flagged, as well as, ideally, the greek πάσχα which is used for the metaphorical paschal lamb which directly refers to Christ.
Do you have Sean Boisen's email, is that how he would want to be contacted? Would it be forwarded by one of the MVP's?

The problem here is that the Bible Sense Lexicon (BSL) tags individual words, not phrases, but in the case of "Lamb of God", the sense of the phrase is not necessarily the sum of the sense of the words, if that makes sense (no pun intended).
That said, I do agree that 'lamb' is tagged badly, and you're not the only one to say so.
Sean's contact details are fairly easy to find online (he has a website, and is on Twitter), but it may be best to leave a public comment on his Logos forum profile.

Email to data@logos.com is the best choice for now. In a future update, we'll have a link on the panel menu to report issues.
If you create a thread here (with a clear title please[:)]) that may help other users who come across the same issue until we resolve it. And sometimes the resolution is "we did that by design: here's why": the forums are a good place for us to communicate that as well.
