Bug: My Bible notes keeps getting deleted
I made a notes document called "Bible notes" or something very similar. I made comments on several verses. Now everything is deleted. I am very upset. Can't I trust the system in Logos that it keeps my documents safe?

I have the document in my favorites. But when I try to open it, it opens a new document instead. The original is totally gone.

Yes, the system keeps documents safe. It sounds as though something strange is going on here.
With Logos 5 there is an "undelete documents" option as below:
If you click on the link at the bottom it will take you to a website showing deleted documents. If your notes file shows up there you should be able to restore it.
To try and understand what is going on here what happens when you walk through the following steps:
- Create a new notes document (marked as "1")
- Close it
- Look at your set of notes documents (marked as "2") - does it appear and can you open it?

when you go to the reference you added not too, is the marker there? or has it gone?
if its there click on it, and see which notefile opens, as sometimes if several were open they go to a different file
if not there use the new "undelete documents" function on bottom of documents window

I had another note open and closed it. Then I clicked on "Documents" to open the other note that was deleted. I searched after it and could not find it. Then I went to favourites and clicked on the link to the note but it couldn't be opened. Instead, it created an untitled note document. I got pretty frustrated but then I got help from you. Thank you very much.

Thank you DominicM also. Yes, "undelete documents" worked great. I will remember that in the future.
