Logos 5: Cited By - Collections

Regarding the Cited By tool, the list of collections found in the Panel
Menu consists of two types: user created collection(s)
and Logos defined collections. When you create a custom collection (i.e. using the Collections tool),
it is by default checked and displays in the Cited By tool. With dozens of collections in the "Show Collections" section, I am finding it unwieldy to manage which collections I want to display and in which order. There has to be a better way.
Could we have customized collections separated from the Logos defined collections? That is, in the Panel Menu, have one section called "Show Custom (or User Defined) Collections". Have another section called "Show System Defined Collections". Each section displays collections (checked or unchecked) in alphabetical order and places checked collections at the top of the list. When you uncheck a collection, it is filed in alphabetical order along with the other unchecked collections.
If, however, it is best to use the single section currently in the Cited By tool, could we have the ability to view either our customized collection(s), system created collections, or both, in the Panel Menu?
How many of you find the collections created by the software useful?

I think for those that have not created any collections, the standard ones are useful. With that said, I think some organizational, as well as alphabetizing new collections rather than putting them at the bottom would be helpful. If you create a new collection and do not want it at the bottom of the cited by listing you have to move it up... and up... and up. If the list was organized into sections and then alphabetized it would be very helpful.
Good suggestion David.

Thanks John. If my suggestions above are not cost effective, how about this: add a search bar in the "Show Collections" section within Cited By, so that we can search for the name instead of scrolling up or down looking for a collection?
I wish the forum software allowed polling. How many customers use the Cited By tool during a week period? How has this tool helped you?
My answer: I use it several times a week; I've found some fascinating journal articles using this tool.

David I think the suggestion to divide the list into sections would be helpful. Keep ratings and mytags separate as well.
I also would like to see:
- Collections when added via the Collection Tool are NOT automatically added to Cited By (that is, checked).
- Cited By given a 'clear all' or 'check all' option.
- Setups of the cited by tool to be able to be remembered and recalled. I really don't want the same collections polled for every resource. I'd like to set up one I want for a certain type of resource and never have to go back and set it up again. (I know how to do this using Favorites, but most users wouldn't.)

I think that's a great idea. As I was setting up the Cited by Tool, I end up getting confused sometimes. Such as I'll have a collection titled "John Owens" and then again later there is a pre-made collection called "Works of John Owens." So I end up getting duplicates sometimes in my results if I don't catch this.
I've been just using a customized passage guide with different author collections, but now am trying to venture out by using the Cited By tool instead so my passage guide isn't as cluttered. We'll see how this works out.

Jason, are you sure you want your email address so prominently displayed? Hate to see spammers get hold of it.

It shouldn't be being displayed. Is it?

Cited By given a 'clear all' or 'check all' option.Great suggestions Mark.
I'm not sure I understand the third bullet. Are you are saying that the Cited By tool should display specified collections for each Layout? Because it does currently behave this way.
Update: Cited By tool is helping me look at Exodus 10:1-3. I've not exhausted my search, but just wanted to share my answer on how this tool is helping me in my readings.
The Cited By tool showed my selected collections of resources that mention the verses in Exodus. I focused on my collection called "Theology":
Clicked on the "more" link to see the full output, and then clicked on a resource called A New Systematic Theology of the Christian Faith:
Looking at that resource, I note that footnote 17 points the reader to another source.
I think I have that resource, and so with the Cited By tool I look at the collection called "Periodicals - Filtered." Yep, there's the resource from footnote 17:
Now I found another interesting journal article that pertains to my current reading. The article even shows popular highlights:

Never mind, it's a web URL. I guess that's safe?
Jason,
It is displayed on the forum.

I don't see my email anywhere. I see my church website, but don't see a reason to worry about that, or is there? Or am I just that blind and can't see my email clearly displayed?
