I installed Logos 4 to my wife's laptop since it meets all of the suggested guidelines but we also have a desktop.  It is a 2.5GHZ processor (dell ).  If I upgrade the RAM to 4GB will this allow the program to run effectively even though it is not a duo core processor?

Paul,

The answer is "yes... kinda".

I ran it somewhat well on a 2.4 GHZ P4 machine... but the RAM was low, started with 512MB and grew to 1GB at max.  It did alright, though it had notable delays.  I could live with it, others may not be able to.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

In general more RAM equals better performance.  As Thomas mentioned this will be affected by processor speed as well as the OS you have install.  If this is a 64 bit OS then you can make use of the full 4 Gigs of RAM which is a big reason to have a 64 bit OS.

Of course you need a 64bit processor in order to run a 64 bit OS but in short... yes get the RAM it will increase performance at least to some degree.

Logos 5, Windows & Android perfect together....
