Saw on a blog site this morning that Zondervan is once again having a "Load Up Your E-Reader" sale for Kindle. Of course, my next move was to check the Vyrso site. VERY glad to see that they're matching the prices. ALWAYS my format choice.

Check 'em out! Go either to Vyrso's "Best Deals" section or from the Home Page select "Start Browsing - See All," choose "Zondervan" under "Publisher" and than sort by "Savings" to see some pretty nice discounts.

Thanks Vyrso/Logos!

Preferably through Vyrso... If not, surely you can think of another LARGE company that sells ebooks. Wink (In this case, the price was set by Z... So the price will be the same everywhere.)

You can also Google the key words/phrases mentioned in the first post on this thread, particularly "sale" and the name of the publisher and the name of the sale in quotes, and you'll find those other versions of these books from the competitor.

The price is not the same everywhere for a book I found published by Zondervan on sale in Vyrso.  It was three dollars more in the Kindle format.

It's nice that Vyrso sell these books , but I wonder how long we (non US-citizens) will be able to buy books from the publishers affilliated with Zondervan. They are not for sale in any other ebook store for non-US citizens. Sometimes you may be able to buy them from Amazon - but then they usually cost 1/3 more - up to twice as much as the US price.

Strange - I would have thought that they wanted to sell books!

Yes. Vyrso is the "trade" eBook store by Logos. ("Trade" books are the kinds of books you would find in the local "Christian" book store… everything from Amish romance novels to "Christian Life" books & devotionals).

Picked up some titles yesterday not realizing it was a push by the big Z, but the price was great, now I know why.
