The INFO window and the Hebrew text

I have noticed a small problem with the INFO windows when working with the Hebrew text. Words in Hebrew that begin with prepositions or conjunctions only display translations of the prepositions and conjunctions but not translation information of the main word itself. Take as an example Psalm 35:13 וּ֝תְפִלָּתִ֗י "and my prayer". The INFO windows gives the various translations of the word "and" offered by the NASBU, AV, NKJV etc, but the main word "prayer" is only given a dictionary definition. Shifting the mouse over the word "prayer" does not change the situation. One is therefore not able from the INFO window to see how the various translations render any word beginning with a preposition or conjunction. I would appreciate any response.

Peace to you, rari! *smile*
There are so very many ways to use Logos! Have you looked at some of the videos available? Depending on whether you are using Logos 4 or Logos 5 you may want to check these out! http://wiki.logos.com/
Because of my background and where I am using Logos, I very seldom use the Information Window; although many who do use it speak of it very highly. If there are some who "love" the Information Window "muchly" perhaps you might post to this thread with your experiences.
One of the things I like when comparing translations is to use F7 - to compare translations - there are various ways to use that tool also - I like to "float" it and put all my Bibles on it - but I'm old and retired and not usually in a hurry! That may be a bit tedious for you??? *smile*
Am attaching a sample (Psalm 35:13) - sending it in a Microsoft Word 10 Document -- for your perusal.
Welcome to the Logos Forums, rari, and please share with us which Logos Base Package you may be using and perhaps we can "zero in" on your particular needs!
Philippians 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand..........

Hi Rari - and let me add to Milford's welcome to these forums.

I can't reproduce this running 5.0b beta 1 on Windows 7. Please see the two screenshots below:
In the first one I had clicked on the word "my" and in the second I had clicked on the word "prayer"

Do you have the Information window set to change on "hover" or "click"? (this is modifiable in the Settings menu at the top of the panel)

Thank you for the warm welcome to the forums!
I am running Logos 5 in Mac. The behaviour I describe can only be replicated if one uses as a base text a full Hebrew text like BHS or SESB or LHB. I am interested to see that the problem does not exist if one uses an English translation linked to Strong's as a base text, such as the NASBU which Graham has kindly explained above.

I see what you mean - I can replicate what you are describing using BHS and LHB (I don't have SESB)

PS: This will probably get more attention in the Logos 5 forum. I'll create a thread there and reference this one.

There is currently an open case for this issue. I have added a link to this thread to that case.

This has been fixed in 5.1 for beta testers, and will be fixed in general when 5.1 ships to the stable channel.
