library view

Is it possible to resize the library drop down box and have it stay that way after I close down L4 and then re-open it?

No, but just to make sure you are aware of it you can right click on the library tab to open the library in a floating tab, or drag it to where you want it to open. Then you can view the library in whatever size you need.

That means "Yes" in my book! I always open it in a regular Tab (I prefer that to a floating window; there's no such thing as a "floating tab"), because the positions of those are remembered and restored when you open Logos back up again.

You can resize the tabs just as easily as you can the floating windows, BTW. Drag them around to dock them wherever you want, horizontally or vertically, drag on the boundaries between tabs to enlarge them. Create a named layout to remember that layout if you want to go back to it later after cluttering up your layout with other windows. Here's how to name layouts, in case you haven't figured it out yet: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/5933.aspx

I should clarify: That is if you don't have "show home page at startup" enabled. If you do, then you still need to close the home page by clicking the home page icon in order to get back to the last layout you were using when you closed Logos.

Hmmm, ok. I've noticed that.
The floating window works nicely indeed with the resizing. But now I've ran into another problem.
Is there a keyboard shortcut to open the library in a floating window or in a new tab?
Thanks

From the Help file:
Ctrl+L open Library in a floating window
