I have had multiple issues with getting others connected through email invites.
1. Sometimes the emails are never received. I have had to send some multiple times, whereas others go through with no problem. It would be useful if there was a confirmation when emails are sent as well as some record of what has been sent to whom. There is a Pending Invitation listed for those who have an account, but only once they have set up their own account.
2. Once the invite is received, it is not possible to accept it until you have set up an account. If you don't have an account, you received an error message, as noted in a previous thread. Easy enough to work around this by emailing everyone separately and telling them to set up an account first, but this needs to be remedied for future users.
Additionally, it appears that changes I made from the iphone app were not saved, i.e. the addition of a reading plan. Is it possible that the emails that were not received failed because I sent them through the app, and that the fault lies there?
What works is good, but what doesn't work is making things pretty shaky for those trying to commit to reading plans and accountability. Please keep up the good work!
