In trying to test Richard Lyall's bug on L4 stealing keystrokes from other apps (does for me too) I also discovered L4b2 crashes whenever I try to run Copy Bible Verses... I can't remember ever trying to use CBV before so I don't know if that's a new problem or not...

Does it do it only when you are using Ableton Live music software or in any other app (while L4 is still open) ?

If i am in FireFox and hit Ctrl-Alt-B, it does nothing. When in L4 it starts CBV. Trying to reproduce your error. i noticed in your log, that Libronix utility is being envolked. Wondered if this is related to a post where using L3 script updater caused issues.

Hi Steve, good clarification... So there are two issues.

One is that Logos 4 'steals' keyboard input from other programs, ie pressing Ctrl-Alt-B now while I'm in firefox or in any other application I don't think it should do anything, instead Logos4 CBV comes up in the background, this is the same issue Richard has as mentioned in another thread. I'm running Win 7 x64...

Second issue is that CBV crashes Logos 4 on my laptop everytime regardless of whether I run it from the menu, with the keyboard shortcut or whatever, I've just discovered that's not the case on my desktop though the installs are identical... Very odd!

The references to Libronix in the log are due to (IMHO) inconsistent internal naming conventions in the program, it's all (marketed as) Logos 4, the program's just a bit confused inside Big Smile

<Ctrl+Alt+B> also stolen by L4 when the following apps have focus:

  1. Firefox 3.5.5
  2. Outlook 2007
  3. SwishMax3 Flash editor

So it doesn't seem to be app specific.

The Ctrl+Alt+B hotkey is global (by design); see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6436.aspx
