I think I am having a problem with the morphological search option. When I click on the search button, I get a screen that looks like the one below. If this is wrong, could someone please tell me how to fix it? Similarly, if it is right, just let me know so I'll stop trying to fix it myself.

Thanks

Yes, mine looks a little different.  Salmon colored framing.   And of course the whole center of the panel too; that could be a problem.

..

Two questions:

- Did you update your Libronix using the InternetExplorer9 fix (also IE10)?  That looks like the problem.
     See http://community.logos.com/forums/t/30926.aspx

- More importantly, have you thought of upgrading to Logos4 (free)? Or Logos5 (free in a few weeks)?

Hi DMB. Thanks for your reply. I've now gone back to me old laptop which is running XP and discovered, sure enough, the search window looks like yours. I think I'd sort of assumed that my version first in Windows 7, then in 8, just needed a 'click' to fix it.

I want to run Libronix if possible because my preferred word processor is Word Perfect and sadly this will only handle the Graecall font from Libronix. If Logos would incorporate Graecall and Hebraicall, or if Corel would incorporate unicode, I'd upgrade.

I do have Logos 4 on my desktop with Windows 8, and I think this is 'saving' the Libronix data, so an uninstall and reinstall didn't fix my problems. I will try a complete purge and see what happens.

BTW I did run the IE9 fix.

Wonder if have looked at Corel WordPerfect Office X6 ?

Free alternative is LibreOffice, which can also handle unicode plus has complex text entry option for Hebrew.

If you have applied the IE9 fix and still get the same result then the problem is IE10/Windows 8 and I couldn't fix it (nor will Logos).

One of the most annoying things is I can't do a 'clean' reinstallation of Libronix.

I've tried uninstalling, running the 'purge' batch file, deleting the folders - yet every time I reinstall Libronix it comes back with the same settings - and even the same resources!

Has anyone got a clue about this?

Corel X6 still doesn't do unicode! Sad

I may try your other suggestion.

Wikipedia article about WordPerfect => https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WordPerfect included link to a WordPerfect forum discussion about unicode => http://www.wpuniverse.com/vb/showthread.php?31119-Unicode-and-the-future-of-WordPerfect&postid=211149#post211149

LibreOffice has a web site => https://www.libreoffice.org/
