I'm guessing you might not have Anchor Bible Dictionary: logosres:anch;hw=Ishmaelites;off=15086 which has a map?

Well, I can't attest to scholarly accuracy. But, Google has more than a few sites. One I found interesting is here: http://www.bible.ca/archeology/bible-archeology-exodus-route-wilderness-of-shur-ishmaelites-midianites-amalekites.htm I reproduce the map for what its worth

However, you solved the earlier thread yesterday on how to find 'Jesus Travels' maps. (instead of Ishmaelites above, use Jesus).
