I now have 3 groups. When I select one and go to members I see the current members. If I go to invite someone, it shows me all three groups and there is no way to select the one I want to invite someone to. If I go to the email tab and put in an email address, it just processes - does not ask me who it is, does not update the invites list. I don't have any idea where it went or what group it invited the person to. This is a mess.

The very first time I did this when I had only 1 group, it worked and one of those is still in the invited list and one has joined. But it hasn't worked correctly since then - as I try to add other people. This is a pretty basic function to get a group started,

Hopefully I can add some clarity to your situation:

When you click on the "Invite members" link, it will take you to an invite page that will invite people to the group that was displayed when you clicked on the "invite members" link. I can see how this is confusing because we don't show you what group you are currently inviting people to on that page anywhere. However, if you look at the web address (url) in your browser, it will show you the group token of the group you are inviting people to. It also adds to the confusion that we show you "My groups" as the first tab. The "My groups" tab is actually an easy way to invite people to your group from your other groups.

As to viewing invites, we do not currently show you the people you invited via email. I hope this helps! Thank you for your feedback! It is posts like yours that help us figure out what features are confusing people so we can find a better solution.

Thanks to the response. I will comment back when I find out if my invite processed or when I try the next one.

I only have one group.  The group is secret and can only be joined by invitation.  When I go to the invite people page and enter an email address under the members tab, it shows the number of people I am ready to invite in a box next to the email box.  The only option I have next is to hit the finished tab.  Once I hit the enter tab, I do not receive the members invited pending tab.  In fact nothing appears to happen.  I have sent a test invite to one of my email addresses.  I have done this several times and I still have not received an invitation to join the group.  Am I doing something wrong?  Right now there are only three or four members in the group.  I want to add more.

I read a little further down in the forum and I think I found an answer to my problem.  I will make sure the people I have invited have already joined faithlife. com.  If I still have problems, I will let you know.
